1.Who we are

Jay Khodiyar Travels (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a travel agency based at Shop No. 12, Manav Mandir Apartment, Opp. Shefali Bungalows, Viratnagar Road, Odhav, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. We offer vehicle rental with driver (Tempo Traveller, Force Urbania, bus, Toofan and car), airport transfers and outstation tours, and we operate the website jaykhodiyartravels.in.

2.Information we collect

We collect only what we need to quote, confirm and run your trip.

• Details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, pickup and drop locations, travel dates and times, group size, vehicle preference and any message you send.
• Booking and payment details: the amount, date and mode of payment (such as UPI or bank transfer reference). We do not collect or store your card or net-banking passwords.
• Conversations: messages and calls with us on WhatsApp, phone and email.
• Technical data: browser type, device, approximate location, pages viewed and IP address, collected automatically through cookies and similar tools.

3.How we use your information

• To answer enquiries, share quotes and confirm availability.
• To assign a vehicle and driver, and to arrange pickup and drop.
• To send booking confirmations, trip updates and payment receipts.
• To handle changes, cancellations, refunds and complaints.
• To keep records required for accounts, tax and legal purposes.
• To improve our website and services, and to keep them secure.

We may contact you about your own booking at any time. We send promotional messages only if you have agreed, and you can ask us to stop at any time.

4.WhatsApp, calls and website forms

Most bookings happen on WhatsApp. When you tap a “Book Now” or “Get a Free Quote” button, or submit our contact form, your device opens WhatsApp with your details pre-filled. Nothing is sent until you press send. Messages on WhatsApp are handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy, in addition to this one.

5.Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar tools to make pages work, remember basic preferences and understand how visitors use the site (for example which pages are popular). This helps us improve the website. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may then work less well.

6.Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where needed:

• Drivers and vehicle partners assigned to your trip, who receive your name, phone number and pickup details.
• Service providers who help us run the business, such as website hosting, analytics, messaging and payment or banking services.
• Authorities where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, customers or property.

7.Third-party links and services

Our pages link to services we do not control, such as Google Maps, our Google Business Profile, WhatsApp and social media. These services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your data.

8.How long we keep your information

We keep your information only for as long as needed for the purposes above, including to handle disputes and to meet accounting, tax and legal requirements. After that we delete it or make it anonymous.

9.How we protect your information

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, such as limiting who can see it and using secure hosting. No method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10.Your rights and choices

In line with Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you;
• correct or update information that is wrong or incomplete;
• delete your information, where we no longer need it for a lawful purpose;

Our services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a parent or guardian believes a child has shared information with us, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Continuing to use our website or services after an update means you accept the updated policy.
