These Terms & Conditions apply when you book a vehicle or tour with Jay Khodiyar Travels, or use our website. By booking or using our services, you agree to them.
1.Our services
Jay Khodiyar Travels offers Tempo Traveller, Force Urbania, bus (AC and Non-AC), Toofan and car rental with a driver, along with airport transfers and outstation tours. We do not offer self-drive rental.
2.Booking and confirmation
A booking is confirmed only when we confirm it to you on WhatsApp, phone or email, with the date, vehicle and price.
Please give accurate pickup details, dates and passenger numbers. Wrong details may lead to extra charges or cancellation.
The vehicle seat capacity is fixed. You must not carry more passengers than the legal seating capacity.
3.Payment
An advance may be taken to confirm the booking, and the balance is paid as agreed at booking or on completion of the trip.
Payment can be made by UPI, bank transfer or cash, as agreed.
We share a receipt or confirmation of payment on request.
4.What the price includes
The confirmed quote lists what is included, such as vehicle, driver and a set number of kilometres or days. Anything not listed, such as toll, parking, state entry tax, night halt, extra kilometres or waiting time, is charged extra as described in our Disclaimer.
5.Using the vehicle
The vehicle may be used only for the trip and route agreed with us.
Please follow the driver’s reasonable instructions for safety, route and timing.
Smoking, alcohol, illegal items and any unlawful activity in the vehicle are not allowed.
Please take care of the vehicle. You are responsible for damage, spillage or excessive cleaning needed because of passengers.
6.Driver and timings
The driver follows the agreed pickup time and route. Please be ready on time, because waiting beyond the agreed time may be charged.
On multi-day trips, driver rest, night halt and daily driving limits apply for safety.
Changes to the route or extra stops should be discussed with the driver and may change the price.
7.Delays and breakdowns
We try our best to run on time, but delays can happen because of traffic, weather, road closures or events outside our control. If a vehicle breaks down, we will arrange a replacement vehicle where reasonably possible. We are not liable for loss from delays that are not our fault.
8.Passenger responsibilities
Carry valid ID and any documents needed for the trip, such as permits or entry passes.
Passengers are responsible for their own luggage and belongings.
Passengers should have appropriate medical and travel cover for the trip.
We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
11.Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability for any claim related to a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss or for events outside our reasonable control. Nothing here limits your rights under Indian consumer law that cannot lawfully be limited.
12.Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
13.Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website on the date of your booking applies to that booking.
